Yes. Donations to The Donkeys of the Heart are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, because we are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. You will receive a donation receipt for your records.

Your gift directly supports donkey care and our programs for children and adolescents—hay and feed, veterinary and farrier care, safe equipment, facility upkeep, and the resources needed to deliver high-quality, safe sessions.

Absolutely. We welcome committed volunteers and supporters. You can help with donkey care, program support, events, or fundraising—equine experience is not required, and training is provided.

Yes. We gratefully accept approved in-kind donations that support donkey care and program needs (such as feed store gift cards, supplies, and certain equipment). Please contact us first so we can confirm what is most helpful and safe to use.

Yes. You can dedicate your donation in honor or in memory of someone special. Include the name and any message with your donation, and we can also notify the person or family if you provide their contact information.
