Donkeys of the heart was formed in 2019 with the goal of improving the mental, social, health of children and teens living with disabilities through therapeutic horsemanship activities.

We partner with donkeys.

We provide individualized or 2 siblings lessons through a safe, professional, and ethical model.

Adaptive horsemanship activities include grooming, saddling, leading activities on the ground as well as mounted riding lessons.

The benefits of therapeutic horsemanship are improvements in strength, balance, confidence, communication and social skills. Donkeys do not judge or criticize.
